Issue: When installing SharePoint 2013 is my test server. Got the error:
“Application
Server Role. Web Server (IIS) Role: Configuration error.”
This was the first
error I was getting there was list of errors to come.
Resolution: I followed the same steps given in the Article by Mr.
Fadi Abdulwahab and it did worked correctly. Thanks to him.
A KB from Ms has
also been published in this regards: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2765260
Applies to: SharePoint Server 2013 and Windows Server 2012.
